Access to a Quality Course - being a member of Whitley Bay GC gives you the opportunity to play when you like, as often as you like and how you like, whether you enjoy the challenge of weekly competition or a relaxing social game. The golf course is great fun to play for golfers whatever their ability. There are interesting holes, picturesque holes and challenging holes.
We think most golfers want to practice at least some part of their game from time to time, some more than others! We therefore have an extensive range of practice facilities , a short game area (with practice bunkers) and also large putting green which closely mirror our course greens.

We have a fantastic Ladies Section which hold organised competitions on Thursday and Sundays and participate in regular competitive team matches against other clubs in the area. Ladies play informal game every Monday lunchtime. Our ladies always welcome new members from those just starting golf to those who are looking for competitive golf.
Whitley Bay GC has a thriving men’s Seniors Section which welcomes new members and hold organised competitions on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. The Seniors Section also participate in regular competitive team matches against other clubs in the area which provides the opportunity to play different courses and socialise with golfers from other clubs.
Our clubhouse is a great place for eating, drinking and socialising with your friends or family. Whitley Bay GC is a friendly club where new members and guest are always made to feel welcome. The golf club is a great way to network with other people from the area and make life-long friendships with other members. Children are made welcome
